Part of a bronze mantel set comprising a clock, the round dial showing the hours in Roman numerals signed Auriol is surmounted by a flaming urn and supported by openwork architecture featuring an inscribed coat of arms between two crowned greyhounds. The scrolled uprights end in a putto's head on either side. It rests on a rectangular openwork base terminating in four lion paws, reminiscent of the candelabra embellished with four arms of light.
