Bronze clock, the round dial showing the hours in Roman numerals, hemmed with a shell frieze, set in a rock on which an elegant woman is reading, the whole underlined by a base embellished with a frieze of pearls and bâtons rompus, acanthus leaves in falls, scrolls, flower buds and fruit on the four feet terminated by scrolls.
