16-gauge percussion shotgun, 730 mm Damascus table bores, signed on the band "F.P. Lepage Arqer du Roi" and with barley grain-type front sight, scroll-engraved locks signed "F.P. Le Page" on one and "arquer du Roi" on the other, hammers engraved en suite, double trigger under iron bridge engraved and ending in a point on the front, attractive walnut frame. Le Page" on one and "arquer du Roi" on the other, engraved hammers in succession, double trigger under engraved iron bridge ending in a point at the front, attractive blond walnut frame with engraved return iron layer, complete with its tulip-tipped iron ramrod revealing a barrel puller, wear from use, wood stains, LT 1140 mm, very fine quality workmanship, France XIXth period. Henry Le Page (1792-1854), heir to a famous Parisian harquebusier dynasty, was a prolific inventor who registered numerous patents.
