CREIL ET MONTEREAU - LEBEUF, MILLIET et Cie Manufacture de Suite of seven fine earthenware plates with grisaille decoration in the basin of animated scenes representing the occupations of well-born people, the border decorated with polychrome bouquets of flowers alternating with blue cameo interlacing foliage. Circa 1840-1875 Mark on reverse (some chips and browning of the enamel) Diameter: 19.5 cm Note: Association of Louis Lebeuf and Milliet. Formerly "Louis Lebeuf et Thibault". In 1876, the company became "Barluet et Cie", then in 1884 the "Faïenceries de Creil et Montereau".
