Trumeau in molded, carved natural wood and gilded stucco, decorated in the spandrels with garlands of flowers and burst shells. The upper two thirds of the piece feature an oil on canvas depicting a cottage landscape animated by figures, while the lower third features a mirror hemmed with a frieze of water leaves, with the view echoed around the edge of the canvas. (missing stucco, cracks, drips, slightly pitted mirror). Height 150.5 cm - Width 76 cm
