Rectangular-shaped travel compass-barometer-altimeter-thermo - Lot 297
Rectangular-shaped travel compass-barometer-altimeter-thermometer marked "Touriste" on the table, it features a round compass and barometer-altimeter, the former with a dial on a brown background adorned with the compass rose in gold hemmed with azimuths, the latter with a silver dial marked Chavannaz Bordeaux, it is hemmed with a pivoting crown. Both are topped by a mercury thermometer. It is housed in a leather case embossed with the initials R.A. on the lid and hemmed with gilded fillets, and marked on the inside Chavannaz Ingr Opticien 37 cours de l'Intendance Bordeaux.
