Re de Charleville", all brass fittings, brass trigger guard in the shape of a cut-out fleur-de-lys, buttplate with fleur-de-lys return, waxed walnut stock with thumb piece marked "Gardes du Corps du Roi" and Grandes armes de France under crown, iron ramrod with nail head, TL 1435 mm, traces of use and old oxidation on barrel otherwise BE-TBE, France First Restoration period, category D § e.
