Rare ENFIELD Mark II caliber 476 ELEY revolver, interesting crack system and advancing cylinder, frame stamped with Queen Victoria's crown (V.R.), ENFIELD, 1881 and II, British acceptance marks on frame, barrel and cylinder, 6-inch (146 mm) barrel with seven ribs and half-moon front sight, lightened six-chamber cylinder, hammer lock safety when loading door is opened, smooth waxed wood stock, fixed lanyard ring on cap, carcass back stamped "N W M P" for "North West Mounted Police" (1079 guns were delivered to the Mounted Police of Canada, used between 1883 and 1911), traces of use to tanning otherwise BE-TBE, in a brown leather regulation case, LT 320 mm, British Empire late 19th century, Category D§ e.
