Derbent carpet (warp, weft and wool pile), East of the Cause, circa 1950-1980 This rug is based on the design of a Chirvan perpedil rug. The rug is decorated with ram's horn and geometric motifs on an ivory background. An ivory border with kufic motifs is framed by four counter-borders. Slight wear and fraying 230.5 x 153 cm
