Hamadan rug (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), Northwest Persia, circa 1960-1980 The rug features a large polychrome hexagon set off by another small multicolored hexagon on an ivory background with geometric motifs. An orange-red border with garlands of multicolored flowers is framed by two counter-borders. (wear, visible wefts in some places, moth holes) 201.5 x 129 cm
