CHINA Porcelain covered pot of baluster form with painted decoration of a large celebration scene featuring musicians, dancers and notables in a sinister architectural setting. The lid features a series of moving figures hemmed by a scrolling frieze alternating with fruit, the fretel presenting a vegetal bud. No mark on the reverse. (wear to the decoration, soiling, small old chip to the neck, numerous restorations to the lid). Height: 43 cm.
