Gilt bronze cage clock adorned with beveled glass, the annular dial with Roman numerals for the hours is indented in the center and marked Chaudé, Horloger de la marine, Paris, Palais Royal 35, the blued steel hands in the Breguet style, the round movement engraved with the watchmaker's name also features a double-bulb mercury pendulum modeled after Antoine Rédier, on a Brocot blade suspension with a blade spring for counting clicks, the Graham escapement visible on the dial.
