CHINA, CANTON, late 19th century Set of two polychrome porcelain vases of baluster form decorated with famille rose enamels of cartouches depicting scenes of dignitaries in the garden against a background of flowers and birds. Stylized frieze on the low rim, facing dragons forming small handles, salamanders in relief on the shoulder. Very similar decoration on the two vases. Remainder of wax stamp on reverse of one of the vases. (chips, crack on one base). Height : 43 cm - Diam. : 19 cm - Height. 45cm - Diam. 21cm
