Spiked helmet, model 1895, artillery officer's nameplate, black patent leather bombshell with gilded ball on round base secured by four star-shaped rivets, visor edged with brass piping and lined with green morocco, marked in pencil "Hptm Gründmann" (Hauptmann = Captain), nacelle lined with red morocco, eagle plate with gilding remnants, chinstrap with scales and officer's roundels, satin-lined interior, cracked bombshell and shock to rear snap ring, wear and tear, worn headgear, Germany WWI era.
