Round-shaped silver bowl mount, the openwork body decorated with Medici vases featuring fruit and foliage flanked by mermaids and foliage; the latter support baskets of fruit on their heads. The handles on either side are decorated with Medusa surmounted by two coiling snakes. It stands on four ball feet hemmed in the center with a frieze of tracery.
