Keschan carpet (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), central Persia, circa 1940-1970 The rug features a central double medallion in navy blue and ivory, extended by two pendants on a red background enhanced by an elegant polychrome stylized floral design. The entire composition is embellished with four ivory spandrels. A blue border with multicolored flower garlands is framed by two counter-borders. (Worn and damaged edges). 267 x 175 cm
