Tebriz carpet (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), Northwest Persia, circa 1930-1960 213 x 129 cm The rug is decorated with a double polychrome poly-lobed lozenge, extended by four pendants forming vases on a navy blue background enhanced by an elegant polychrome stylized floral design. The entire composition is embellished with four spandrels. A red border with garlands of flowers is framed by two counter-borders. Worn, frayed and damaged edges
