Case containing an ADAMS caliber .44, 15.4 cm octagonal rifled barrel, five-chamber cylinder, frame engraved "Adams patent no. 9649" and Adams 1851 logo, with interesting and unusual lateral rammer system, one-piece checkered stock, in a 36 x 21 x 8 cm case, made in Liège and fitted with the following accessories: powder flask, bullet mold, flathead screwdriver and chimney remover, cookie cutter, chopstick and tip, oil dispenser, the second floor being removable and revealing a reserve for wads, bullets and chimneys....and maker's label "manuf by Pirlot Brothers Liège, Deane, Adams & Deane gun makers London Bridge", no. 9649, wear from use, superb mid-19th century workmanship, category D
