DAGRANT Gustave-Pierre (1839-1915) Double-paned molded wood door, featuring stained glass windows in the upper two-thirds depicting six scenes in the Rennaissance style. Signed Dagrant Bordeaux (small accidents) Height 260 cm - Width 64.5 cm Note: The Dagrand company, established in Bordeaux in 1872, produced numerous stained-glass windows for religious buildings in France and Europe, notably in Rome, and even in South America. Gustave-Pierre Dagrand, a founding member of the Cercle Ozanam with certain clerical views, was awarded the Saint Sylvester cross by Leon XIII. His first workshop was in Bayonne, before opening a second in Bordeaux around 1873-1874.
