AROUNI Lynette (1915-1996) Woman thinking Watercolor Signed lower right 50 x 36.5 cm Note: Born in Helena, Montana, on July 3, 1915, daughter of printmaker Nicholas George Arouni. Lynette spent three years studying in Los Angeles at the Art Center and Chouinard art schools. In 1948, she married writer Harry B. Logan and subsequently lived in France. She died there on December 26, 1996. Exhibitions: California. WC Society 1939-42; 48 States Competition 1940.
