Comtoise in molded natural wood, green relacquered, decorated with birds and flowers in polychrome, it features a white enameled dial with Roman numerals for the hours, an iron track around the perimeter, and openwork hands adorned with sunbursts, It is set in a brass frame embossed with dotted lines, embellished with flower buds in the spandrels and surmounted by an openwork pediment of a flowering vase flanked on either side by horns of plenty and topped by a radiating mascaron.
