CREIL ET MONTEREAU - GRIFFITHS Charles Edmond said HAMLET Charles (engraver, author of the decoration) - Lebeuf, Milliet and Co Manufacture of - Barluet & Co Manufacture of Set of three plates with polychrome historiated decoration, two of identical decoration but of different polychromy, they are titled in the back "Vive Mr the priest! it is the providence of our village; the third representing a sad couple in an interior in front of a dog, it is annotated in the back "Paris besieged - My poor Médor I will be forced to ... to eat to preserve you your poor ma". Marks on the reverse (a plate with a crack, wear to the decoration and annotations) Diameter : 20,2 cm Note : Plates with the same decoration are preserved in the Musée Gallé-Juillet in Creil. The complete annotation for the third plate is Mon pauvre Médor je vais être forcé de te manger pour te conserver ton pauvre maimaitre".
