RABINOWICZ Bençion Dit BENN (1905-1989) Pineapple lying down Oil on canvas Signed lower left - Countersigned, titled and dated 1955 on the back frame 38,3 x 61 cm Note: BENN is the acronym of 'Bençion Rabinowicz' was born in 1905 in Bialystok, Poland and died in 1989. He is attached to the School of Paris. In 1929 he was admitted to the Union of Professional Artists and began to exhibit his works in Biaystok, Warsaw, etc. Public works: His main works were exhibited in Washington, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, it was 72 Premonitory Drawings. They have also been exhibited in France, in Paris, at the Unesco House for Love and Peace a mural painting dating from 1985, at the Carnavalet Museum for a set of landscapes and portraits of Parisian celebrities, in Saint-Cloud at the Avelines Museum for The Songs of the Bible."
