In 1959, Jacques Le Nantec entered the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris. To live and finance his sculptures, he is in turn a decorator, cartoonist (Spirou newspaper) and modeler of wax figures. From 1969 onwards, he carried out public commissions such as the Monument to Marshal Jean de Lattre de Tassigny in Mantes-la-Jolie. In 1990 he created a foundry in Ayutthaya, Thailand. The artist successively opened a gallery "Vent d'Est Vent d'Ouest" and then his "Secret Museum" in Macao from 2006, the place of his current residence. Bibliography : J. P. A.
