An important ormolu clock with a round white enamelled dial - Lot 48
An important ormolu clock with a round white enamelled dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes separated by a railway, openworked hands, it is set in a bollard surmounted by a knot, the sides presenting four upside down columns decorated with scrolling leaves, foliage and garlands of scalloped fruit. It is surmounted by an urn supporting garlands of oak leaves, it rests on a grey Saint Anne marble base with a doucine and projection decorated with leaning eagles' heads, cornucopia and flowering rinceaux. The whole rests on four square-sectioned feet. Movement with round plate marked Bouquet, blade balance, ringing on stamp. 19th century (marble slot) Top. 54.5 cm - Width: 45.5 cm - Depth: 17.5 cm
